A Gift Guide for the Bookish Little
I recently thrifted a ton of books for Reese’s “Santa” gifts this year because she has always loved books! I’ve been reading them to her ever since she was an infant because she’s always loved looking at the pictures and hearing our voice when we read them aloud. Now that she is almost a 2 year old, she is toting books all over the house, always handing us one to read to her. (If it’s not a hot wheels car I’m stepping on, then its a board book I’m tripping on—— and I love it). This list includes all of her most favorite board books that she engaged with the most as a baby, and also the new ones I’ve gotten her for her age now, including a few picture books. Board books are great because they are way less destructive for this age, but I did go ahead and get a few picture books because I know she will love the illustrations. The board books she likes to hold and flip the pages herself, and the picture books have been great for those times when she likes for us to read to her while she’s in her high chair, and also for when she likes to sit in our lap. I hope you find this helpful and inspiring!
