Alana Doss is a watercolor & multi-media artist & illustrator living in the charming city of Thomasville, Georgia with her husband, Nathan, and toddler, Reese. She grew up immersed in a world of creativity—a mother who is a natural fiber artist & a grandmother who was a painter as well— it was a given that art would circle back around to her adult-life career. Alana made the decision to pursue her art full time since becoming a mom to a wonderful little girl, and has since been involved in events in her community. In April of 2022, Alana presented her original works in the “101st Annual Rose Show & Festival, Rose Fest Market” for her first show to participate in. She has also worked with multiple clients for private commissions & projects in the last year. Her work derives from the every day life of the southern beauty that Thomasville’s architecture & nature provides. With a quaint downtown shopping experience and beautifully kept historical buildings of the city, she can approach the blank page without hesitation. You will find her work to be whimsical and uplifting, and her color selections will bring cheer & peace to your space. When she is not painting, she enjoys walks with her family, reading, educating her daughter, and Sunday mornings with her church family.
